Before and after earlobe repair and repiercing in a 33 year old man. His old piercing had been ripped out by his dog and it healed on its own with a vertical slit.
His earlobe was repaired under local anesthesia in the office and repierced at the same procedure. We recommend bringing a small hoop earring that can be worn for 6-12 weeks afterward while the new piercing heals.
Follow up photos are shown 2 months after surgery. He is ready to change his earring to a stud if he likes.
