Meet Danielle Bautista, MSN, ANP

Danielle Bautista, MSN, Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, has worked as a Registered Nurse since 2007 and an Adult Nurse Practitioner since 2012. A San Francisco native, Danielle graduated with her Master of Nursing degree from the University of California, San Francisco. She completed a double specialty in Adult Nurse Practitioner and Occupational and Environmental Health. She also holds a Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School.

Danielle initially specialized in Interventional Spine, Physical Medicine, and Sports Medicine. She later shifted her focus to regenerative, ultrasound-guided injections that help rebuild and repair ligaments and tendons. Concurrently, she followed a passion for health, beauty, and wellness, and sought a career in aesthetic medicine. To her delight, she found a through-line between aesthetics and regenerative medicine, both aiding the body’s repair after injury, illness, and aging.

Danielle trained for half a decade with a San Francisco Facial Plastic Surgeon, expert injector, and researcher. During that time, she participated in investigational studies on neuromodulator treatments and injectable dermal fillers for Galderma and Allergan Aesthetics, further honing her skills. Danielle is a curious and self-motivated life-long learner who is always looking to improve her skills and techniques. She regularly attends master injection sessions and PDO thread courses and seminars, and finds her experience with ultrasound-guided injections enhances her skill with aesthetic injectables.

As an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, Danielle is passionate about non-invasive and minimally invasive aesthetic treatments. She helps her patients address the effects of aging and gravity.

She offers her patients expertise in:

• Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
• PDO thread lifts
• Injectables, including neuromodulators like BOTOX® and Dysport® and facial hyaluronic acid fillers for the cheek (volume replacement), tear trough, and lips (natural enhancement and volume)
• Chin and jawline reshaping
• Microneedling, with topical treatments applied afterward
• Weight loss, including prescriptions for GLP-1 and GIP medications.

Danielle most recently traveled to Stockholm, Sweden, where she spent several days with Dermatologist and expert injector Dr. Rebeka Gardell. There, she learned and mastered the Swedish lip injection technique.

Danielle is thrilled to join the San Francisco Plastic Surgery team as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner. She looks forward to caring for our patients, offering state-of-the-art anti-aging and aesthetic expertise, and expanding our non-surgical services. Her professional aesthetic centers on natural, elevated, refined beauty, and she brings the same “Unreasonable Hospitality” that defines Dr. Karen Horton’s practice.

Danielle lives in San Francisco with her husband and her Doberman pup. She enjoys running, adventure travel, philosophy, and a freshly brewed cup of specialty craft coffee.
