Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 55-year-old woman with macromastia (large breasts) and ptosis (breast droop). She wanted to be able to go without a bra and feel more comfortable in her neck, shoulders and upper back.
A breast reduction removed nearly two pounds of excess breast tissue from each breast. Her remaining breast tissue was lifted and reshaped using the auto-augmentation technique. Liposuction removed nearly two liters of fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
Follow up photos are shown a year and a half after surgery. She has mature scars and a proportional, manageable and natural looking manageable result.
