Before and after labiaplasty involving a subtle trim of excess labia minora in a 38-year-old woman. She had had one child and was contemplating another pregnancy. After the birth of her son, she found that the inner lips of her vagina hung lower and longer than the surrounding labia majora. She experienced discomfort and wanted a cleaner appearance to this part of her body.
A labiaplasty trimmed protruding labia minora but left a normal amount behind. The second photo shows the labia minora tissue removed during surgery.
After surgery, she took three weeks off exercise and a full month off having sex. Follow up photos are shown 2 months after surgery, with very minor residual swelling. She will be able to appreciate her final results in another month or two.
