Before and after liposuction of the neck in a 41 year old woman. She was fit and physically active but had a stubborn fat collection under her chin that would never go away, despite how low her body fat percentage was.
Liposuction of the neck was performed in the office under local anesthesia. Nearly a half cup of fat was removed through two tiny incisions hidden under her jawline.
Follow up photos are shown a year after surgery. Her jawline looks natural and she no longer looks immediately at her neck in photographs of herself, as she did previously.
Results of liposuction are permanent, as the fat cells that were removed can never come back. As long as you maintain your present lifestyle and weight, the neckline improvement will last!
