Before and after bilateral breast reduction in a 33 year old woman with breast asymmetry in addition to macromastia. A breast reduction removed excess heavy breast tissue, created better symmetry and reshaped her breasts.
Liposuction removed fat from her armpit region and the upper back fat/bra roll area. Follow up photos are shown 3 months postoperatively. Her areolas are “asleep”, considering both sensation and function. The sensory nerves will wake up around the same time their contractile ability recovers. It will take a full year for her scars to mature.
