Before and after labiaplasty in a 23-year-old woman. She experienced physical discomfort every time she rode her spin bike or went for a hike. She wanted this part of her body to look “prettier” and more tidy when she stood upright or walked in front of a romantic partner.
A labiaplasty trimmed excess labia minora tissue, including a small amount of excess skin from the clitoral hood region. Clitoral hood reduction does not change the sensation of this intimate region, nor does it interfere with sexual function - it only reduces extra folds of skin from the front of the vulva.
Long-term follow up photos are shown 4 years after surgery. She forgets all about her past labia issues and came back to see us to say hello and to learn about medical-grade skin care and laser treatments! :)
