Before and after liposuction of the neck in a 53-year-old woman. At the same time as a breast implant removal and breast lift surgery, she wanted to improve the appearance of her neck – but to minimize scars that would have been required for a full neck lift.
Liposuction of the neck removed 75 cc of fat through two tiny incisions hidden under her jawline. After surgery, she wore a compressive chin strap until the bruising was completely resolved (three weeks).
Follow up photos are shown 2 months after surgery. Although she still has some visible and palpable swelling, her skin has started to contract to its new form, and she can appreciate how good her neck looks!
