Before and after liposuction of the neck in a 57 year old woman. She was starting to develop jowls and a fatty, saggy neck and was thrilled to learn she could address this in the office without going under general anesthesia!
Liposuction was performed with her awake, under local anesthesia and after taking a mild anti-anxiety pill. The surgical markings are shown in the last set of images.
Fat was permanently removed from under her chin and from her jowl regions in a 40 minute procedure. After surgery, she took only extra strength Tylenol for discomfort and wore a compressive chin strap for two weeks while at home and sleeping.
Follow up photos are shown 4 months after surgery. Her neck looks natural, and she appreciates her profile now in photographs.
