Before and after left earlobe repair and repiercing in a 25-year-old woman. Her left piercing had stretched out after her dog jumped up and pulled her earring. It healed on its own, but left her with a stretched out, elongated earring hole that prevented her from wearing studs – the earring would fall out of the hole.

A lobule repair was performed in the office under local anesthesia. A new piercing was created one millimeter to the side and higher up on her earlobe at the same surgery.

Follow up photos are shown 6 months after her procedure, with a well-healed old piercing scar and a new ear piercing that is symmetric with her other earlobe.
