Before and after unilateral (single sided) upper lid blepharoplasty in a 30 year old woman. Only her right eyelid drooped, causing her to look tired on that side. She gravitated to how her eyelid looked in photographs and she was self-conscious about wearing eye makeup because of her heavy, baggy upper lid.
An upper lid blepharoplasty on the right side only trimmed excess skin so the rid upper eyelid matched the left side. Long term follow up photos are shown a year and a half after surgery with a nearly imperceptible scar and greatly improved symmetry.
