Before and after bilateral upper lid blepharoplasty in a 68-year-old woman. She had thick skin creases in her face and eye region and did not want to look “plastic” or pulled too tight. She simply was looking for less hooding of her upper eyelids so that she could properly wear eye makeup.
An upper eyelid lift (upper blepharoplasty) was performed under local anesthesia with an oral anti-anxiety pill. After surgery, she took a week off work at home and waited a full month before resuming exercise.
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. She looks normal and natural – and has achieved her goals!
