Before and after bilateral breast augmentation with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 31-year-old woman with congenital breast asymmetry and a mildly tubular breast shape. She wanted a rounder, fuller and more symmetrical size and shape to her breasts.
Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position, through an incision hidden in the fold under her breast – known as the inframammary fold. Two different sized implants were inserted in order to achieve improved symmetry.
After surgery, she took one week off work and three weeks off exercise. Because we don’t put implants under the pec muscle and we always use drains for primary breast augmentation, she had very little swelling and no need for the implants to “drop and fluff.” You can appreciate the final results within a few weeks, rather than need to wait for three months to resume exercise and see the final outcome.
Follow up photos are shown 1 months after surgery.
