Before and after bilateral breast revision in a 43-year-old woman with previously placed saline breast implants. The right implant had deflated, creating asymmetry. Her goal was to have a fuller volume and perkier look overall.
Her revision involved removal of the old saline breast implants and replacement with smooth round silicone gel breast implants. In order to achieve a perkier but natural look, both nipples and areolas were lifted. This required creation of a new incision around the nipples and areolas and a vertical incision underneath (the "lollipop scar").
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery, with maturing scars and greatly improved symmetry.
