Before and after bilateral breast revision with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 56-year-old woman.  She had significant complications after past cosmetic breast surgery resulting in necrosis and loss of her left nipple, unsightly scarring and breast asymmetry.

She felt ashamed of her breasts and found getting dressed and undressed a constant reminder of her deformity.   She was hoping for some semblance of balance and to finally move on from her past complications.

Her breast revision involved a mastopexy to lift both nipples and create better symmetry to the breasts overall.  This involved making a new lollipop scar on both sides.  Her left nipple was reconstructed using the local flap technique.  Medical tattoo created improved symmetry to the areola color.  Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpits and bra rolls.

Follow up photos are shown 4 years after surgery.  She has greatly improved symmetry, an improved body image and no longer thinks about her breasts in a negative way.  She has been able to successfully move forward.
