Before and after bilateral breast augmentation revision with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 63-year-old woman. She previously had undergone breast augmentation with saline breast implants. The left one had suddenly deflated, resulting in her bra pulling toward the right larger breast and causing her to feel self-conscious in her workout tops.
Since she had undergone menopause and some related weight gain with hormonal changes, she wanted her new reconstruction to be a little larger than her current implant size to better match her new curves.
Her revision involved removal of both saline implants and replacement with larger and higher profile smooth round silicone gel prostheses. Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. She feels very comfortable in her skin and was relieved that her revision was so easy! No drains, minimal bruising and never needed a pain pill!
