Before and after bilateral breast revision with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 41-year-old woman who had a prior breast reduction that created an abnormally high position of the nipples - worse on the right than the left - and breast asymmetry.

The "vertical breast reduction" technique creates only a "lollipop" scar, but does not adequately remove tissue from the lower pole of the breast. This can result in "bottoming out" of the breast, with a consequent elevation of the nipple height.

Her breast revision involved a redo of her breast reduction and lift with reshaping and lowering of the nipples and areolas - which is a challenge to do! A small amount of breast tissue was removed from each lower pole to help debulk the heaviness of the bottom of her breasts.

Her remaining breast tissue was reshaped internally to create a more normal breast appearance.
Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpits and bra rolls to enhance the aesthetic outcome of her revision.

Follow up photos are shown 1 year after her revision, with maturing scars, greatly improved symmetry and a more normal look to her breasts.
