Before and after bilateral breast implant revision in a 45 year old woman. Her old submuscular implants sat too far apart and too high on the chest, creating a “waterfall deformity” or “Snoopy deformity” with her breast tissue hanging off her implants like a long Snoopy nose.

What bothered her about her augmentation result the most was the animation deformity that made her embarrassed during yoga, Pilates and sex. She wanted to be subtly fuller and to look more natural.

Her revision involved removal of her old saline implants, replacing her pectoralis major muscles to the chest wall, and creation of a subglandular pocket. Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle.

Follow up photos are shown one year after surgery. She has normal looking cleavage now, her animation / flexion deformity is gone, and she feels very comfortable in any situation!
