Before and after nipple and areola reconstruction in a 52 year old breast cancer survivor.  She previously had a delayed right breast reconstruction after non-nipple sparing mastectomy with a DIEP flap.

Her right nipple was later reconstructed using a free nipple graft from the left nipple (“nipple sharing” technique) and a medical tattoo for the areola.

The pigmented mole from her abdomen that was on her breast reconstruction was covered up by the areola tattoo.  Follow up photos are shown three months after nipple and areola reconstruction.
