"Donor" nipple and "recipient" nipple in "nipple sharing" for nipple reconstruction after breast cancer.  As can been seen in the second photo, a skin sparing mastectomy removed the nipple and areola.  Breast reconstruction was performed using an implant on top of the muscle.

The areola was reconstructed by medical tattoo, and the nipple was reconstructed using a free nipple graft from the other side.  The donor nipple is slightly smaller and it retains sensation.  The donor nipple is around 50% smaller than its original size.  The reconstructed nipple looks normal and natural!
