Before and after right nipple areola reconstruction in a 57 year old breast cancer survivor.  She previously had undergone implant based reconstruction and was seeking a revision of her breast reconstruction.

At the same time as her breast revision procedure, her right nipple was reconstructed using the local flap technique.  Medical tattoo first added pigment to the new nipple before the local flaps were elevated and also created a new areola circle.  One surgery achieved both nipple and areola reconstruction.

Follow up photos are shown 10 months after surgery.  The bright areola color will fade over time; she is considering having additional 3D pigment added to her areola for an even more natural looking result.
