Before and after nipple and areola reconstruction in a woman with a delayed DIEP flap breast reconstruction.  A portion of her other nipple was used as a free graft, and medical tattoo was used to create an areola.

The first set of images shows the reconstructed nipple and areola, and the second set shows the donor nipple before and after “nipple sharing”.  The donor nipple is approximately half the size and projection afterwards, and the remaining nipple retains its normal sensation.
