Before and after mastopexy and augmentation in a 54 year old woman. A small volume implant was placed in the subglandular position to fill in lost volume after breast feeding and weight changes.
Smooth round silicone gel implants give the most natural and aesthetic results. A mastopexy lifted her nipples and reduced her areola diameter and removed excess droopy breast skin. Liposuction of her axillary rolls and upper back fat/bra roll completed the transformation.
Follow up photos are shown at 6 months after surgery. She feels more youthful and feminine, and no longer needs to wear a bra! Her incisions are still pink which is normal for this stage of healing as the blood flow has not completely receded. At one year her incisions should all be faded and mature.
