Before and after bilateral mastopexy and augmentation as part of a Mommy Makeover in a 37 year old Mom of three. She missed the fullness and perkiness her breasts used to have before having children. In her words, “my babies sucked the life right out of them”. Atrophy, or natural loss of breast tissue, is common after pregnancy and breastfeeding, especially if a mother returns to her pre-pregnancy weight.

Her augmentation and lift included placement of smooth round silicone gel breast implants on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position. Her nipples and areolas were lifted and her breast skin draped around her fuller and higher breasts once the implant was placed. The final scars for a mastopexy-augmentation are a lollipop scar and a short scar in the breast fold.

Liposuction completed the procedure, removing excess unwanted fat in her armpit and bra roll region (axillary rolls), along with her upper and lower abdomen, anterior flanks/love handles, the pubic area and upper inner thighs at end of the tummy tuck.

Follow up photos are shown just 2 months after surgery. Her incisions are dark as expected with increased blood flow for healing. Scars will naturally fade over the first year and the blood supply returns to normal with further healing. She is actively doing scar therapy and she is so happy that she is filling out her swim suit tops and bras again!
