Before and after bilateral mastopexy-augmentation with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 43-year-old woman who previously lost over one hundred pounds following gastric bypass surgery. She literally lost ALL the volume of her breasts, which were now empty skin hanging off her chest, with her nipples pointing to the floor.
No one at work knew about her volume loss, as she had started a new job – and she created the look of her formerly full breasts with a LOT of padding in her bra. Her goal was to have the former fullness of her breasts back so that she had the look she wanted, without any padding!
Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position. Excess skin was removed from the lower pole of her breasts, and her nipples and areolas were lifted to a higher position. Liposuction removed fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
Follow up photos are shown 9 months after surgery, with maturing scars and a very happy patient. She is next considering an abdominoplasty and lower body contouring but wants to get physically fit first – which we always recommend!
