Before and after bilateral mastopexy and augmentation with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 40-year-old woman with congenital breast asymmetry and tubular breasts. Like many women with this breast shape, she did not care what size her breasts were as much as for them to have a more natural and “pretty” shape.
Her goal was to be slightly larger and lifted, with improved symmetry. Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position. An additional lollipop incision was used to lift the nipples and remove excess baggy lower pole skin from the breasts. Liposuction removed fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
Follow up photos are shown 2 years after surgery. She feels very comfortable in her skin and loves her natural-looking and imperfect results. While she does not have 100% perfect symmetry, breasts are “sisters, not twins” – which makes her outcome even more authentic!
