Before and after post-weight loss mastopexy-augmentation with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 31-year-old woman who had lost nearly 150 pounds after gastric bypass surgery. At the same time as a tummy tuck, she sought rejuvenation of her breasts, including restoration of lost volume with the weight loss and a lift of her nipples.
Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position. Her right nipples and areola was lifted to better match the left side and to achieve a more youthful but normal and natural appearance to the breasts.
Liposuction removed excess residual fat from her bra rolls and armpits (the axillary rolls), together with her upper and lower abdomen, pubic region, flanks and upper inner and outer thighs. After surgery, she took a full month off work and wore compression under her clothes for three months.
Follow up photos are shown 10 months after surgery, with maturing scars, a proportional breast outcome and a happy patient!
