64-year-old BRCA gene-positive woman who sought risk-reducing bilateral prophylactic nipple-sparing mastectomies. Immediate single-stage breast implant reconstructions were performed to preserve her body image and to create a reconstruction result as close as possible to her natural breast size and shape. She did not wish to be fuller than her original breast volume, and declined a breast lift procedure to tighten loose breast skin. Hence, mild rippling of her implants can be seen, which did not bother her. Follow up photos at 9 months after surgery are shown.
