Before and after right inverted nipple correction in a 25 year old woman. She had asymmetry of her nipples that made her feel self-conscious. She just wanted “to have a matching pair!”

A right inverted nipple correction was done in the office under local anesthesia. Follow up photos are shown one month after surgery. There is still minor swelling below the nipple, but it is now symmetric with the other side. She resumed exercise at 10 days postoperatively and is now planning her breast augmentation!

Although it is possible to combine an inverted nipple repair procedure with a breast augmentation, there is stimulation of some nipple bacteria with an incision in this area. Therefore, we usually recommend staging them by at least one month apart.
