Before and after inverted nipple correction on just one side in a 20 year old woman. She was self-conscious about her nipple asymmetry. She wanted to preserve breast feeding ability and sensation - which is also our goal in Plastic Surgery!
Her inverted nipple was brought out in a simple office procedure under local anesthesia. She has not yet had children, but she is relieved to know that most of the connections to the nipple were maintained during surgery. Her nerves woke up within weeks and she has recovered normal nipple sensation.
