Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 63-year-old woman. She wanted her breasts to stay proportional to the rest of her body, but to be more symmetric, a little smaller, rounder and lifted.
A breast reduction removed a few hundred grams of excess breast tissue from each breast – more from her left larger side. A local tissue rearrangement using the auto-augmentation technique reshaped her remaining breast tissue. Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery, with maturing scars and a balanced, proportional, natural looking result. Her areolas are sleep “asleep” – meaning they are not yet contractile. As nerves wake up, they will constrict normally from cold or touch and her nipples will become more erect as her areolas constrict.
