Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 39-year-old woman with macromastia. Her heavy, pendulous breasts caused chronic strain on her neck, shoulders and upper back. She wanted her breasts to be a little smaller and significantly lifted and reshaped.
A breast reduction removed nearly a pound of excess breast tissue from each breast. Her remaining breast was lifted internally and reshaped using the auto-augmentation technique. Liposuction removed over 800 cc (think of a bottle of wine, which is 750 cc!) of fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
Long-term follow up photos are shown 3 years after surgery, with mature, faded and flat scars and her final results.
