Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift using the auto-augmentation technique with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 33-year-old woman. She was planning her wedding next year and looked forward to being able to try on wedding dresses without automatically needing to tailor them due to the large size of her breasts!
A breast reduction removed over two pounds of excess breast tissue from each side. Her remaining breast tissue was lifted and reshaped, and liposuction removed fat from her armpits and bra rolls, at the same time as she added liposuction of her abdomen and flanks. After surgery, she took a full month off work and started scar therapy at 6 weeks.
Follow up photos are shown 4 months after surgery. Her sensation is returning and she found a wedding dress that needed zero alterations! Note the position of her nipple with respect to a mole on her left chest before and after surgery, and that while she still has stretch marks in the upper pole of her breasts, they are less prominent since they have better support from the breast lift.
