Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 43-year-old woman whose breasts had always been “nice and full and round”, but grew exponentially and became more droopy after she had children. She wanted her breasts to be smaller and lifted, but to protect her body image and for her breasts to stay proportional to the rest of her body.
A breast reduction removed over a kilogram (two and a half pounds!) from each breast, but left a proportional amount of tissue behind, honoring her wishes - which is always our goal. Her breast tissue was lifted and reshaped using the auto-augmentation technique. Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
Long-term follow up photos are shown 3 years after surgery, with mature scars and her final results. Even with hormonal changes of perimenopause, she is maintaining a perky, full and round result, and is very happy!
