Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 49-year-old woman. She had always had large breasts, but as she entered menopause, they grew in size and became droopier. She wanted a reduction and a lift, but to stay proportional with the rest of her body.
A breast reduction removed two pounds of excess breast tissue from each side. Her remaining breast tissue was lifted and reshaped using the auto-augmentation technique. Liposuction permanently removed fat from her bra rolls and armpits at the end of the procedure.
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. Her scars are fading, but are still pink at this time, which is normal for this stage of healing. She loves not needing to wear a bra, and her back and shoulders feel so much better with the 4+ pound weight removed no longer pulling on them.
