Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with excision of accessory axillary breast tissue in a 47-year-old woman. She had a significant drooping of her breasts, with her nipples pointing to the floor. This is the most severe classification of breast sagging, known as “Grade III ptosis”.

Her breast reduction involved removal of a small amount of breast tissue. Her goal was mostly to be lifted and have a perkier shape to her breasts than to be significantly smaller. The auto-augmentation technique relocated her breast tissue higher up on the chest, as per where a breast implant would sit.

Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpits and the bra roll region, but she had firm and fibrous tissue protruding from her axillary region that also required excision. Follow up photos are shown 10 months after surgery with scars that are slowly fading and a proportional, lifted and nicely contoured result.
