Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 58-year-old woman. She had significant asymmetry of her breast size before surgery, and heavy dense breast tissue. You can see marks from her tight sports bra in her preoperative photos.
A breast reduction removed over a pound of tissue from each breast and reshaped her remaining breast tissue into a smaller and rounder breast that sat up higher on her chest.
Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery with immature pink scars. Her nerves are starting to wake up, but her nipples are not yet becoming erect. Full nipple contractile function can take a year or more to completely recover. Her posture is already so much better than before surgery and she is now going braless!
