Before and after breast reduction and liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 29 year old woman. She had not had children yet, but her breasts were drooping like she had breastfed already! The denser the breast tissue, the more droop and sag (called “ptosis” in medical terms) can be expected as the suspensory “Cooper’s ligaments” succumb to gravity and stretch out with time, age and weight fluctuations, particularly with sudden weight loss.

A breast reduction removed some heavy breast tissue from the bottom of her breasts and reshaped the remainder of her breast tissue to a more proportional and aesthetic outcome. Liposuction debulked her fatty bra roll and removed armpit fat.

Follow up photos are shown 5 months after surgery. Her scars are brown/pink as expected for immature scars and her nipple and areola contractile ability has not yet recovered – this can take at least a full year.
