Before and after bilateral mastopexy and augmentation with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 59-year-old woman with breast “ptosis” (droop) and breast asymmetry.

Her goal was to have significant upper pole fullness as if she were wearing a pushup bra.  She also loved the large size of her areolas and was very particular in her request to keep them “large like small saucers” (her affectionate words).

Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed in the subglandular position, on top of the muscle.  Her nipple position was lifted to be higher on the breast mound, but instead of making the areolas smaller as we would normally do, we maintained their normal diameter.  Liposuction removed fat from her bra rolls and armpits.

Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery, with immature bright pink scars.  Her incisions will gradually fade over the next year.
