Before and after bilateral breast augmentation in a 26-year-old woman. She had a nice natural breast shape but wanted to be fuller – and to maintain that shape.
Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position. After surgery, she took a week off work and three weeks off exercise, starting to apply scar gel at one month postop.
Long-term follow up photos are shown 2 years after surgery. She loves her breasts, and feels “totally like herself,” having regained normal sensation to her nipples and improved her body image and self-esteem.
