Before and after breast augmentation in a 62-year-old woman. She had changed her lifestyle to become more healthy and had lost weight, and with that all her breast volume. She wanted a surgery to restore her lost breast volume but to still look natural and like a 60-year-old woman.
Her breast augmentation involved placing smooth round silicone gel breast implants on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position. We discussed doing a breast lift at the same time (a mastopexy), but she did not want to have additional scars and didn’t mind her nipples being a little lower on her breasts.
Follow up photos are shown 4 years after surgery. She is very pleased with her natural-looking results and loves the way she fills out bras and swimsuit tops now.
