Before and after liposuction of the arms and axillary rolls in a 37-year-old woman. She always had “bigger arms” like the women in her family and wanted to improve their contour.
Liposuction permanently removed nearly two liters of fat from her upper arms, armpits and bra rolls through several tiny incisions, hidden in skin creases wherever possible. After surgery, she religiously wore an upper body compression garment for three months.
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. Her scars are fading - note they are darker on the left versus the right, likely due to more sun exposure through the car window while driving. She is applying scar gel with SPF30 sun protection and covering them as needed with concealer if they show when she wears sleeveless tops.
She can now see her beautiful muscle tone beneath her arm skin and is thrilled with her results! Over the next 6 months, her incisions will continue to fade and she will be able to see her final outcome.
