Before and after liposuction of the arms in a 56-year-old woman. At the same time as a breast and body contouring procedure, she wanted to improve the contour of her arms.
She initially thought she needed a full brachioplasty (upper arm lift), but was horrified at the long scar that is necessary for that Plastic Surgery procedure.
Thankfully, she was a candidate for liposuction alone of her upper arms, which was done at the same time as her other procedures. After surgery, she wore compression sleeves on her arms for two months to assist her body with swelling reduction and skin contraction.
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery, with a greatly improved upper arm contour and a very pleased patient! Her skin will continue to contract with time, and building more muscle underneath through push-ups, straight arm planks and light weight workouts will only enhance her arm contour further.
