Before and after liposuction of the arms in a 24-year-old woman. At the same time as a breast reduction, she had planned additional body contouring procedures with liposuction to complement her surgical results.
Liposuction removed over four liters of unwanted fat from her upper arms together with her armpits and bra rolls, abdomen, flanks, pubic region and upper inner thighs. After surgery, she wore compression under her clothes for a full three months, transitioning from her original surgical compression garments to comfortable long-sleeved “athleisure” shirts.
She began applying scar gel as soon as her scabs were gone from her liposuction incisions, around one month, and continued applying gel until her incisions faded.
Follow up photos are shown 1 year after surgery. She feels wonderfully comfortable in her skin, freely wearing sleeveless tops without feeling self-conscious about her arms.
