Before and after liposuction of the arms in a 69-year-old woman. She had made some lifestyle changes and lost some weight. She worked hard on her arm muscle tone but felt her muscles were hidden by excess fat. She wanted to improve her arm contour but avoid the long scar involved with a brachioplasty.
Liposuction of the arms was combined with a breast revision procedure. After surgery, she wore compression sleeves for six weeks under her clothes.
Long-term follow up photos are shown 4 years after surgery. Her upper arm contour is greatly improved. She has some extra skin in her elbow region that is very common in 73-year-olds (her current age). She is very pleased with her outcome and now wears sleeveless tops without hesitation.
