Before and after labiaplasty in a 23-year-old woman. She found exercise painful due to the long and redundant nature of her labia minora, the inner lips of the vagina.
A labiaplasty using the “trim technique” removed the more darkly pigmented tissue from her labia region. Dissolving sutures were placed in two layers to repair the tissue, and she took a week off work to recover, resuming exercise at one month.
Follow up photos are shown 10 weeks after surgery, with some mild residual swelling but a happy patient who is exercising without giving her labia area a second thought!
