Before and after abdominoplasty with liposuction of the abdomen, flanks and upper inner thighs in a 39 year old mother. Early follow up images are shown at 4 months after surgery.
She still has some swelling and scars are not yet completely mature, with a brown discoloration and edema (tissue engorgement), which is normal for only four months after surgery! She is actively doing scar therapy; her incisions will continue to fade and swelling will continue to go down over the next year.
