Before and after abdominoplasty in a 34 year old woman mother of three. Her abdomen was covered with stretch marks and she had overhanging extra skin and fat, which did not match her personality, energy and vitality!
A tummy tuck removed a significant amount of her stretch marks, repaired her abdominal muscles back to one another in the midline, and re-draped her abdominal wall skin more tightly. Her incision is visible at just one month after surgery.
Liposuction of the upper and lower abdomen, pubic region, flanks and upper inner thighs complimented the excisional tummy tuck and repair of rectus diastasis.
Early follow up images are shown at one month after surgery. Postoperative surgical swelling is evident; this will go down gradually over the first three months. She will begin scar therapy in another month, when all wounds are more healed and scabs are gone.
