Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 48-year-old woman with macromastia and breast asymmetry. Although she had not had children, her breasts grew significantly with hormonal changes and mild weight gain during perimenopause. She wanted to have lifted, rounder breasts that would still be proportional to her body.
A breast reduction removed over a pound and a half of excess breast tissue from each side. The auto-augmentation technique of local tissue rearrangement reshaped and lifted her breasts, repositioning them higher up on her chest. Liposuction removed over a liter of fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
Follow up photos are shown 1 year after surgery. Her scars are nearly mature, and she achieved all of her goals!
