Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 32-year-old woman. She had not yet had children and wanted to lose some weight, but her breasts were limiting her from exercising effectively.
A breast reduction removed nearly two pounds of excess breast tissue from each side. Her breasts were lifted and reshaped using the auto-augmentation mastopexy technique. Liposuction removed over a liter and a half of fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. Her nerves are waking up and she has regained partial nipple sensation already. She is relieved to know that a strong connection was maintained between her nipple and the remaining breast tissue, and that future breastfeeding is still very likely.
